Blinds

Blinds are used to control the amount of light which enters a room. There are three common forms of blinds which are vertical, horizontal and roller.

Horizontal blinds tend to come in metal or wooden form and altered as and when needed to angle or restrict light from entering.

Vertical blinds tend to be fabric, hanging down from the top to the bottom of the window. The blinds can be angled for viewing and light or completely closed to restrict all light, usually needed in the evening. These can be used as an alternative or with curtains.

Roller blinds are a sheet of coloured or patterned material which can roll up and down as required. These tend to be used in kitchens and bathrooms where it is not safe or convenient to use curtains or blinds.

There are additional types of blinds such as those for roof windows and blackout blinds to stop any light at all coming into the room.

All types of blinds are available and come in standard sizes or can be made to measure for bespoke designs and unusual window sizes. Blinds are available in a range of colours and patterns to suit the interior design of the room.
