APHC - The Association of Plumbing and Heating Contractors
APHC is the leading Employers Trade Association within the Plumbing and Heating Industry with over 1,500 members across England and Wales.

AMUSF - The Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishings
AMUSF includes craft upholsterers, upholstered furniture manufacturers, chair frame manufacturers, soft furnishing retailers and contractors and others associated with the craft of upholstery.

BALI - British Association of Landscape Industries
BALI is aimed at raising standards throughout an industry that is often tarred with a 'cowboy' reputation. It was established in 1972 and has over 700 members.

CORGI - The Council Of Registered Gas Installers
By law, all businesses carrying out gas work must be registered with CORGI, which now has over 47,000 registered gas installation businesses.

IPHE - The Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering
IPHE is the professional body representing the UK plumbing and heating industry. It requires its members (approx. 12,000) to act professionally, competently and responsibly.

KBSA - The Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Specialist Association
The KBSA works with its members to ensure quality of product, service and installation and members are monitored regularly to make sure that they meet the organisation's stringent criteria.

MLA - The Master Locksmith Association
MLA is a none profit making body; established to set and promote standards of conduct, practice and materials within the locksmith industry.

NCCA - The National Carpet Cleaners Association
NCCA has established minimum standards within the carpet, upholstery, curtain and other soft furnishing cleaning industry which its members have to meet. All members are required to abide by the NCCA's Code of Practice.

National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contractors
The NICEIC is the industry's independent regulatory body. It maintains a Roll of over 10,000 contractors who are approved by the NICEIC and who issue certificates that all of their work is carried out in accordance with the applicable British Standard.

UKTC - The UK Trades Confederation
UKTC has a register of over 9,000 members. All member companies prior to acceptance have to abide by the agreed code of conduct.
